all it takes is a trip to the post office and i once again lose faith in mankind-----------------nothing but old people, and fucking stupid people---------------being that this is christmas i got to stand in line for a few minutes. this was vexing at first but the  i started to take in my surroundings and realised i was in the middle of the biggest impulse buy section i have ever seen. here in canada every 'shopper drugmart' has a post office in the back, so i looked up and down this bullshit aisle, from one useless, synthetic fabrication to the next and was saddened by the realisation the we, humans of the industrialised world, have become shadows of our former selves. we have become a society of hapless morons, getting fatter by the day on lab grown psynthofood. we live in a world where an already overworked healthcare system is weighed down to breaking point by fat, lazy sufferers of self inflicted injuries. we smoke, eat, fuck, sleep and commute through poisoned ...

so i was thinkin t'other day about the whole notion of god and belief n stuff, that in turn got me thinkin about insane people in psychiatric hostpitals, the two go hand in hand in my opinion.
heres a for instance: i wake up in the morning after having an unusually vivid dream where i am visited by a being from another world, a superintelligent being of some sort or another, she/he tells me some stuff about what is really going on in the world and gives me some tips on how to live better and be a better person, for the good of myself and those around me. i go out into the world and start spreading the news, stand up on a soap box in some place like down town new york or london or your average suburban shopping mall and just start shouting to anyone and everyone about my "vision". at the very least people will dismiss me as just another wacko, at worst i will find myself in the mental health system being "examined". if, whilst in the ...
